Based in 1975, after the Vietnam War, "Ong Ba Ngoai" is about a literature teacher and re-education camp prisoner who are forced to leave the country that no longer offer them a future. 
"Ong Ba Ngoai" was published in Mindwaves Vol.14, an annual publication of creative non-fiction for the Professional Writing and Communication program at the University of Toronto.
